Andre Jones, a Portuguese athlete for the international kayak angling competition, said this is his third time participating in the event, and he looks forward to standing on the top podium this year.
"The venue is so beautiful, and the event organization is among the best in the world," Jones said, adding that the Chinese people are extremely friendly and welcoming, making him and his fellow athletes feel like superstars.
