The national pond angling competition, held on Thursday and Friday in the scenic area's international-standard fish ponds, offered prizes totaling 100,000 yuan ($14,000).

The national reservoir angling competition will take place from Saturday to Monday in the core waters of the scenic area. The total prize pool is 600,000 yuan, and the team with the highest overall score will receive a bonus of 200,000 yuan.
