European students explore modern China through BFSU program

The second session of the 2025 Discover China Program kicked off on Wednesday at Beijing Foreign Studies University, welcoming 37 students from Europe for a two-week exploration of the country's academics, culture and industries.
Launched last year, the program offers immersive experiences for international students, aiming to help them gain "profound insights," according to Zhao Gang, vice-president of the university.
This session features students from nine European universities representing 10 different nationalities, including Norway, Sweden, Finland and Greece, said Ke Jing, dean of the School of European Languages and Cultures.
Ke said the group's diverse national and academic backgrounds foster a strong cross-cultural learning environment.
