Coinciding with International Volunteer Day on Dec 5, the China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) Volunteer Service Co-construction Initiative was launched at the Tan Kah Kee Memorial Museum.
The event, themed "carrying forward the spirit of Tan Kah Kee, demonstrating volunteer responsibility", featured diverse activities aimed at advancing the CIFIT volunteer service brand toward systematic, professional, and regularized development.
At the event site, the Xiamen Volunteer Federation presented the "CIFIT Youth Volunteer Team" flag to the Xiamen Conference and Exhibition Promotion Center.

Multiple organizations were awarded honorary certificates for the "CIFIT Volunteer Service Station". Once established, these stations will serve as core hubs for volunteer services at the CIFIT, building a service model that integrates regular volunteer activities with support for major exhibition events. Meanwhile, this also marks the early launch of volunteer recruitment for the 26th CIFIT.
Since its inception alongside CIFIT in 1999, the CIFIT volunteer service brand has mobilized over 21,000 volunteers, who collectively contribute approximately 80,000 service hours annually. Covering multiple areas, including foreign language translation and guest reception, it has served more than 1.6 million attendees, including domestic and international guests and Taiwan compatriots.
