Liangjiang New Area in Southwest China's Chongqing municipality will hold its first 'shopping festival' from May 1. During the festival, consumer coupons worth tens of millions of yuan will be issued.

The coupons are available on Alipay or WeChat between May 1 and June 30, and can be used in all the major commercial complexes in Liangjiang.

By scanning QR codes or searching "兩江新區(qū)" or "兩江新區(qū)消費(fèi)券"on the apps, Alipay users can obtain the coupons at 10am on May 1, 15 and 29, while WeChat users can obtain them at 10am on May 15 and 29.

Every user can collect two universal discount coupons worth 25 yuan ($3.54) when spending 50 yuan or more, and one discount coupon worth 50 yuan when spending 100 yuan on household items and vehicles.

The coupon will be automatically used when paying with Alipay or WeChat, and can only be used separately and two times at the same store for the same user every day. The coupons are valid for 14 days from the day they are collected.
