Shaanxi Painting art trading center opens in Xi'an

The trading center of Shaanxi Painting art was opened in Xi'an' Art Gallery on Thursday.
About 200 million yuan ($31.3 million) was registered for the center that was established by Shaanxi Cultural Industry Investment Holding Group and some private funds,?making it the?biggest?one so far in the central and western China.??
"Shaanxi was a province with great painting and calligraphy. We would try our best to make the trading center of Shaanxi painting art a professional painting art market with the strongest brand effect in a short time," Wang Yong, the general manager of Shaanxi Cultural Industry Investment Holding Group, said?at the opening ceremony.
The center is engaged in the exhibiting, transacting, collecting, studying and other service of painting art. It is positioned as a 'master, boutique and?genuine'?place for?art training?and will gradually sigh with famous painters and calligraphers around the country, to make long-standing, stable and reliable co-operation, according to Wang.
A national-wide summit of artwork investment and collection forum was held in the afternoon.?Painting artists?had a discussion around Chinese art market and gave their own opinions towards the development of the trading center.
According to the opening ceremony, the 2011 boutique promotion?at the?Shaanxi painting art trading center was also?started on Thursday.?The expo, lasting for?a month, will exhibit nearly 100 treasures from Modern Chinese artists.
