Sinoma starts new material production base, SW China

The Chengdu municipal government of Sichuan Province has signed an agreement of strategic cooperation with China National Materials Group Corporation Ltd. (Sinoma) to launch the West China New Material Production Park in the city.
According to the agreement signed on Monday, Sinoma will invest about RMB3 billion to set up the base on the research and production of a wide range of new materials including composite materials, artificial crystals, advanced ceramics and fiber glass.
A factory of quartz crucible, part of the production base, is now under construction in Xinjin County in southern Chengdu.
