Haiyang Nuclear Power Project Phase I starts in October

Haiyang Nuclear Power Project Phase I will start in October in Shandong Province.

According to China Power Investment Corporation, the first unit nuclear island has been casted with concrete.

Haiyang Nuclear Power plans to construct six nuclear power generating sets with 1,000,000 kilowatts capacity, and project phrase I aims to construct two AP1000 three-generation nuclear power generating sets with 1,250,000 kilowatts capacity.

The nulear power plant is located in Shandong Peninsula and the project is controlled by China Power Investment Corporation.
