每次到Sandy家學(xué)插西洋花，均可看到她五歲活潑可愛的兒子，在屋中與他的小狗追逐嬉戲。上星期六卻一反常態(tài)，屋中靜悄悄的，我便好奇地問Sandy么沒見到小湯姆？她氣急敗壞地對(duì)我說："He is eating humble pie in his room." 喜歡做不同口味pie的我，獨(dú)對(duì)Humble Pie非常陌生，立即向Sandy索取Recipe（處方）。她才告訴我兒子此刻正在自己房中懺悔，這個(gè)“Humble Pie”是無法用手來做的，而須用誠(chéng)心來賠不是。
