Manufacturers in southern parts of China are speeding up production of Bing Dwen Dwen toys, as the Winter Olympics mascot became a great hit across licensed stores. 35,000 toys will be shipped to Beijing this week, and up to 100,000 are expected to be available before March 4, the opening day of the Winter Paralympics.
"Everyone who wants one will get one," said Piao Xuedong, director of the marketing department of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
