So far during their trip, the overseas students were impressed by a performance of Jin opera. The local opera is famous for its actors wearing robes with incredibly long sleeves, sometimes up to 10 meters, and throwing them around the theater creating colorful circles.

Some of the French students were given the opportunity to dress up in traditional costume and attempted to mimic the actors' gestures and expressions.

Fifteen-year-old student Mario wore a costume similar to that worn by Song Dynasty (960-1279) official, Bao Qingtian, who was famous for being loyal, honest and upright.
