Shanghai Fast-PCB Circuit Technology Corporation, a high-tech company integrating research, development and manufacturing, held a groundbreaking ceremony for its special circuit board production base in Jiading Industrial Zone on Aug 21.
Covering an area of 1.31 hectares, the project will include a manufacturing workshop, a technology center, an exhibition center, a testing center and a laboratory, which will mainly specialize in producing mid-grade and high-end printed circuit boards.
The project is expected to increase production capacity by 30 percent to 50 percent every year and increase the company's annual output value by 200 million yuan ($29.2 million).
With the rapid development of 5G, artificial intelligence, the internet of things, and other information related industries, the printed circuit board industry is facing a new development opportunity.
Established in 2004, Shanghai Fast-PCB Circuit Technology Corporation has sold its products to 12 countries and regions all over the world.
Its new project is also expected to inject new momentum into Jiading district's integrated circuit and the internet of things industries.
