Fushan district in Yantai, Shandong province is currently home to a whopping 60 different types of noodles. Fushan noodles have been evolving for 300 years and today are one of the three main traditional noodles in Yantai. The process of making the noodles is rather complex, with 35 steps in total, which might explain why they are so deeply loved to this day.
