Art troupe from Hui ethnic group performs in Qingdao Expo

An art troupe from Ningxia Hui autonomous region gave their performance at the floral display pavilion as part of the 2014 Qingdao International Horticultural Exposition on September 7.
As a fun form of exercise, diabolo has been popular in China for at least 600 years. Consisting of an axle and two cups or discs, it can be spun on a single string, requiring a great deal of practice to put on a good show.

Suona (a kind of horn) has a distinctively loud and high-pitched sound, and is used frequently in traditional Chinese music ensembles.
