National sculpture treasures arrived in Kunshan on May 8 and were displayed from May 11 to May 19 at the Great Theater of the Cultural Center. Treasures from the Old Summer Palace were available to the public including four bronze head sculptures of an ox, tiger, monkey and pig. Five bronze wares as well as over 40 jade wares were also on display.

Kunshan citizens can visit for free by bringing their second-generation identity card or other valid documents. The four bronze sculptures belong to the Hai Yantang 12 animal statues in the Old Summer Palace. They were made during the period of Emperor Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1636-1912). With a history of 240 years and featuring exquisite craftsmanship, they are highly revered around the world.
