President of Spain's Villa Mir Group inspects CGGC

On March 26, 2010, a four-member delegation headed by Gonzalez, president of Spain Villamil Energy Group, visited the Chengdu-based headquarters of Gezhouba Group No 2 Engineering Co for inspection.
Zhang Chongjiu, Vice President of China Gezhouba Group Co and Qiu Xiaoping, assistant to Vice President, warmly received the guests.
The delegation leader introduced the basic situation of the Group. As one of the biggest industry group in Spain, the Group is interested in the Chinese market and will build the world's biggest silicon metal plant and supporting hydropower station in Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province, the latter of which will be developed by the Energy Company under the Group.
He noted that CGGC, as an internationally renowned hydropower construction enterprise, had completed several world-famous super large hydropower projects, including Three Gorges, Xiangjiaba and Xiluodu, and the Group would like to launch in-depth cooperation in various forms with CGGC in China as well as other countries and regions.
Qiu Xiaoping chaired the meeting and briefed on the Gezhouba Group No 2 Engineering Co, focusing on hydropower development projects in Ganzi Prefecture. During the discussion, they exchanged views on development design and resettlement construction, etc.
