At the invitation of Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Long Guoqiang, vice-president of DRC, led a delegation to Hong Kong from Jan. 17 to 20.

The delegation attended a seminar on real estate markets and economic and financial stability in China jointly sponsored by Institute of Market Economy of DRC, the Institute of Financial Research of the People's Bank of China and Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
Long delivered a keynote speech at the seminar on China’s macro-economy.

He also met with Chen Delin, chief executive of Hong Kong Monetary Authority and exchanged views on Hongkong’s economic development prospects.
In addition, Long held talks with the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong on its business environment, and attended a forum on its macro-economy faced by its Chinese-funded enterprises.
