關于“世界遺產名錄”

正在柬埔寨首都金邊舉行的第37屆世界遺產大會21日陸續(xù)選出多個本屆會議入選世界遺產名錄的項目，申請自然遺產的中國新疆天山成功入選，成為中國第44處世界遺產。

The 37th session of UNESCO's World Heritage Committee (WHC) on Friday inscribed northwest China's Xinjiang Tianshan natural site on the World Heritage List.

上周五，聯(lián)合國教科文組織世界遺產委員會在第37次會議上將新疆天山自然景區(qū)列入世界遺產名錄。

“被列入世界遺產名錄”可以用be inscribed on the World Heritage List表示，名詞形式為the inscription of something on the World Heritage List。在入選名錄之前，一般都要先“申遺”，即bid for the World Heritage List。

World Heritage List就是“世界遺產名錄”。聯(lián)合國教科文組織（United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization，UNESCO）于1972年11月16日在第十七次大會上正式通過了《保護世界文化和自然遺產公約（Convention Concerning the Protection of World Cultural and Natural Heritage）》。1976年，世界遺產委員會（World Heritage Committee）成立，并建立了《世界遺產名錄》。

除了有形的自然和文化遺產外，世界各地還有很多非物質文化遺產（intangible cultural heritage），如傳統(tǒng)手工藝、口頭表演、社會風俗等。
