Yuanchanghou, founded in Hebei Province in 1912, was relocated to Beijing in 1930. In 1987, a new Yuangchuanghou was formed through the merger of six time-honored tea brands in Beijing. In 1993, it was officially named a time-honored brand in China. Yuangchanghou is now an enterprise integrating production, wholesale and retail. The jasmine tea recipe, a mixture of green tea and jasmine, is a best seller.
