感恩節(jié)大家在美國朋友 Bob的家里聚會。Bob 夫婦每年都會邀請親朋好友去他們家，大家相互都很熟了，要是誰沒有來，大家都會詢問一下原因。有一個朋友Audun 能吃能喝能說，大家都很喜歡他?？墒沁@次Audun遲遲未到，我建議是否打個電話過去催一催。Bob 說不必了，“He's got a turkey on his back.”
原來，“Have a turkey on one's back” 是喝醉酒或吸毒成癮的意思。當(dāng)然我們都知道Audun 只是貪杯而已，他是不會去吸毒的。
