Bulls, Raptors continue trade talks ( 2003-11-24 11:16) (Xinhua)
The Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors were not expected to produce a deal involving with Bulls' top-score Jalen Rose on Sunday, according to papers reports on Sunday. The Bulls were planning to send Rose and Donyell Marshall to the Raptors for Antonio Davis, Morris Peterson and a throw-in player to match salaries, several local reports said. "Several names are being tossed around," a league source said. The source also said it's possible that the deal could happen Monday. "We were talking, as I do with many teams," Bulls operations chief John Paxson was quoted as saying on Saturday. "Names and salaries matching up came out. "But in this case, it had not even gotten to the point where I would consider going to my staff." Rose was obviously frustrated when he learned the news Friday at Los Angeles. He shot only 2-11 with three turnovers in only 22 minutes in a 101-94 loss to the Lakers.
