Lu Wei, director of the State Internet Information Office, said at a meeting held in Beijing on Saturday that some Internet celebrities have notable influence on public opinion that could be used to deliver positive and constructive messages to Chinese netizens. The government urged these celebrities to uphold law and order and to promote virtues and trust, Lu said.
