Yangtze Evening News leads its front page with a report of the gender imbalance of freshmen in Nanjing Normal University. The specialty of Broadcasting, TV and Journalism only admitted one male student this year, with the remaining 20 being female. The specialties of Spanish and Italian languages had no male students. Among the 900 freshmen majoring in liberal arts at the university, 92 percent are female. |
