TV actress dies after freak slip and fall accident

A television actress died after a piece of glass from a broken fish bowl cut her throat in a freak slipping accident in her Beijing living room on Friday.

Pan Xingyi, 27, knocked over the fish bowl when she slipped. The bowl cracked and she apparently landed on a piece of glass.

She slipped while reaching for a telephone near the fish tank. His father rushed to her side after he heard the noise and saw she was bleeding.

He rushed her to a hospital where she died soon after. Many of her friends went to her funeral on Tuesday.
