Monaco's Prince Albert arrives in Beijing for Olympics

BEIJING-- Monaco's Prince Albert arrived in Beijing on Sunday for the Beijing Olympic Games.

He was greeted by Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs Wu Hongbo when his private plane touched down at 3:55 p.m. at Beijing Capital International Airport.

Prince Albert, a member of the International Olympic Committee, expressed his strong desire to attend the Beijing Olympic Games during a state visit to China in April 2007, saying, "It will be of far-reaching significance".
