N. China power plant blast kills three, injures eight

A blast took place early Thursday in a power plant in north China's Hebei
Province, leaving three people dead and eight others injured.
Sources with the provincial administration of work safety said the blast
happened at around 0:00 a.m. at Xibaipo No. 2 power plant in the county of
Pingshan.
The blast occurred when workers were testing the plant's equipment, the
sources said, but no further details were available.
A investigation team has been sent to probe into the cause of the blast.
