They will attend the signing ceremony for granting loans to enterprises and the fund-raising forum for small enterprises, as well as promote financial products tailored to such firms and seek to forge new cooperative ties.

At a recent press conference in Guangzhou, Liao Min, deputy director of CBRC's general office, said that the commission is taking steps to give small businesses better access to loans.

Among its moves are the recent joint endeavor with the National Development and Reform Commission to seek permission of the State Council to remove obstacles restricting small enterprises from applying for credit from commercial banks, as well as its efforts to improve policies and regulations promoting loan financing for small enterprises, and its efforts to map out new policies to reward banking institutions that have a good record of granting credit to small firms.
