The launch ceremony of the "Winter Tour Ningxia · Enjoy Sunshine" 2025 Ningxia Winter Tourism Promotion Consumption Series Activities and Ice and Snow Carnival took place at Yahao International Ski Resort in Jingyuan county, Guyuan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, on Dec 14.
The Department of Culture and Tourism of Ningxia Hui autonomous region released five themed tourism routes, covering fields in ice and snow journey, study and practice tour, food and health preservation experience, as well as folk culture and trendy experiences.
Other activities like "Follow the High-speed Railway to Visit Ningxia" were also released to expand options for tourists.
The departments of culture and tourism of the region's five cities also promoted their unique tourism resources and activities, showing their attractive winter charm.
A diverse array of activities was held during the opening ceremony, making the event even more exciting.

Skiers dressed in hanfu (traditional Chinese attire) put on an exciting skiing show, skiing experts showcased their aerial flips in the professional skiing performance area, and tourists enjoyed boiling meat in a copper pot in the cold weather.
When night falls, the dynamic rhythm of electric syllables shook the snow field. The "Snow Aurora Show" dyed the night sky into dreamlike purple, green, blue colors.
With the launch ceremony, this series of themed activities is expected to inspire more tourists to embark on a winter journey through the region.
