The Chinese Grand Prix at Shanghai International Circuit, set for March 13 to 15, is the second stop of the 2026 Formula One season. It will kick off the season's first sprint race, promising a high-speed spectacle.

Tickets go on sale on Dec 11 at 11 am.

Building on its established success, the 2026 Chinese Grand Prix will introduce service upgrades and new viewing experiences, aligning with the season's technical and sporting changes to create an even more engaging weekend for motorsports fans.

1. Fresh angle on the action

Following the popular debut of Grandstand B this year, the circuit will welcome another new viewing area in 2026: Grandstand E. With a capacity of more than 4,000, it sits at the corner leading into the 1.1-kilometer full-throttle straight — a stretch famous for memorable overtakes by Michael Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton, and Fernando Alonso in past races.

To improve access, a dedicated shuttle service will run between the entrance and Grandstand E, making it easier for fans to reach the stand while enjoying unique trackside views.

2. What to watch in 2026

The 2026 season brings major technical changes and the arrival of an 11th team, reshaping the competitive landscape.

The Chinese Grand Prix will again feature the F1 Sprint and the all-female F1 Academy series. Across the three-day event, fans can enjoy one free practice session, two qualifying rounds, a Sprint race, the Grand Prix, and a range of trackside activities.

The event will also partner with leading brands to launch co-branded merchandise, adding a festive, collectible dimension to the race weekend.

3. Ticket information

Grandstand A Platinum, Grandstand E, and Grandstand C/F/J offer three-day tickets only. Other grandstands offer single-day tickets as well as three-day passes.

New premium hospitality packages will also be introduced for 2026 — the T16 Club, T1 Club, Grandstand Club, and Paddock Club — each designed to deliver an elevated, exclusive race-day experience.
