Hohai University, located in Nanjing, East China's Jiangsu province, is renowned for its expertise in hydraulic engineering and draws international students eager to learn from China's advancements in water management. As the university approaches its 110th anniversary, China Daily reporter Yin Weihao interviewed students from Nepal, Peru, and Morocco. Through the Belt and Road Initiative, these students aspire to apply their knowledge to improve water and energy systems in their home countries, transforming their education in China into solutions for global challenges.
