Beijing airport cancels over 400 flights due to strong winds

The Beijing Capital International Airport canceled 419 flights (including those canceled in advance) due to strong winds by 11:00 am on Saturday.?
Currently, the operation of the airport is running smoothly, according to the airport's official account on the social media site Weibo.
As per meteorological information, the airport will see northwest wind ranging from Force 7 to 8 on the Beaufort scale and gusts of 9 to 11 after noon today.
Previously, the airport expected 1,202 takeoffs and landings, transporting 129,000 passengers.
As of 11:00 am, the airport has carried out 269 aircraft takeoffs and landings.
