Tsinghua University opens campus for summer visits

Tsinghua University announced on Wednesday that it will open its campus for summer visits with online reservations from July 13 to Aug 11 during the summer vacation.
The visiting hours are from 8 am to 11 am and 1 pm to 4 pm every day, except for Mondays which are reserved for campus maintenance, the university said in a notice.
Real-name online reservations for entering the university are required, and individual visitors should enter and exit through designated gates with their ID cards, it said.
Group visits are open to primary and secondary school students, who also need reservations made by schools or educational authorities.
Commercial institutions are not allowed to organize a "one-day tour" on campus. No commercial activities related to campus visits will be permitted without school approval.
Core areas for teaching, research, student dormitories and offices are not accessible to visitors. Promotional activities including photography and livestreaming are prohibited on campus, it added.
