Highlights: Utilizing an advanced beam string structure, the venue's roof creates a fresh indoor visual effect. Outside, 308 water curtains, which resemble shutters, reduce indoor glare. The gymnasium is the only new venue of the Asian Games built in a university. After the handball competition, the floor can be renovated to stage other sports, including basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis and judo.
