China launches new remote sensing satellite

XICHANG - China successfully launched a new remote sensing satellite from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Southwest China's Sichuan province Sunday.
The Yaogan-36 satellite was lifted at 8:23 pm (Beijing Time) by a Long March-2D carrier rocket and entered the planned orbit successfully.
This launch marked the 451st mission for the Long March series carrier rockets.
