Xiamen Air sends chartered flights to support Shanghai

Xiamen Air sent more than 10 chartered flights on Thursday to bring more than 1,700 medical staff from Fuzhou and Xiamen to assist Shanghai's COVID-19 control and prevention work.
Flight MF8665 took off from Fuzhou, capital of Fujian province, at 2:28 pm and arrived at Shanghai about an hour later.
According to the provincial government, medical staffers mainly came from provincial and municipal hospitals in Fujian, including Fujian Provincial Hospital, Fujian Medical University Union Hospital and Fujian Provincial Maternity and Children's Hospital.
A large number of those medical workers have participated in the fight against COVID-19 in Wuhan and Putian. They will start work immediately after arriving in Shanghai.
