China to start direct flights from Seoul to Beijing

China will begin direct flights from Seoul in South Korea to Beijing, starting on Friday, after an assessment of the current epidemic situation and prevention work, local authorities have said.
Xu Hejian, spokesman for the municipal government, told a news conference on Thursday that the frequency of the direct flights will be just one per week.
