Spain began 10 days of mourning on Wednesday to honor the nation's nearly 30,000 COVID-19 victims. Flags in more than 14,000 public buildings across the country and on Spanish naval vessels will fly at half-mast. It will be the longest official mourning period in Spain's recent history.
