Zhang Jixian was one of the first doctors who sounded the alarm for the imminent novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak. She noticed the problem when treating patients and insisted on reporting it to her superiors. Since the outbreak, she's been fighting on the front line.
Speaking about her family, she expressed sadness. "I feel guilty about my parents," she said.
She believes we will win this battle against the epidemic using prevention and control measures. "The whole nation is supporting us," she said.
