BEIJING - China's Ministry of Justice has published draft rules regulating forensic science activities to solicit public opinions.
The draft regulation has clarified the forensic science services provided by judicial expertise institutions, including forensic opinions of pathology, clinical evaluations, psychiatry, material evidence and poison identification.
In response to growing complaints against forensic science providers and practitioners, the formulation of the rules will strengthen the regulation of forensic science activities and improve the credibility of judicial expertise.
Organizations and individuals can submit their feedback on the draft regulation until Jan 9 via the official website of the ministry, mail or email.
