Over 360,000 visit Lhasa during May Day holiday

 Lhasa, capital of the Tibet autonomous region, received more than 360,000 tourists over the May Day holiday, an increase of 32 percent year-on-year, according to the city's tourism development bureau.
During the May Day holiday, which started on May 1 to and finished on May 4 this year, the city's travel revenue hit 353 million ($52million) yuan, up 64.1 percent year-on-year, according to the bureau.
As the regional capital city, Lhasa is a world tourism attraction, and it holds many cultural heritage sites, such as the Potala Palace, one of only three UNESCO World Heritage sites in the region.
