50 foreigners receive Magnolia Silver Award in Shanghai

The municipal government of Shanghai on Sept 6 conferred the Magnolia Silver Award to 50 foreigners in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the city's development.
The laureates come from 18 nations and presently work in a variety of industries including economy and trades, finance, shipping, education, tourism and communications.
The Magnolia Silver Award was first launched in 1989 and is among the highest honors a foreigner can received in the city. To date, 1,109 foreigners have received the award.
