Party investigates Hebei official

Yang Chongyong, vice director of the Hebei Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee, has been placed under investigation for "serious violation of Party disciplines," according to the Communist Party of China's Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) on Tuesday.
Between 2007 to 2016, he mainly served as a member of the Hebei provincial committee of the CPC, president of the Hebei Academy of Governance, deputy governor of Hebei and vice chairman of the Hebei Provincial People’s Congress.
