New image for a picture-perfect village
The streets of an ordinary village in Jiangxi province are getting an exciting splash of color this spring, not only thanks to the blooming rape flowers but also to artists from the China Central Academy of Fine Arts.
When visitors stroll through the village they are amazed at the lifelike 3-D wall paintings all around, looking so real you feel you can almost touch the subjects.
Sanlian village, in Shangrao city, has been remodeling itself with agricultural and folk culture elements for the past two years. Visitors can also use free Wi-Fi to scan a QR code to get a spoken introduction to the village.
